A Superb Insight to Start the Day
There is no escaping the fact that there can only ever be one original of a work of art such as an oil painting. No matter if the artist were to lock himself away in his studio and paint the same picture all day, every day, there would always be features that distinguish one from another. Fortunately, it is possible for other artists to create plausible copies at a fraction of the price. This way, art lovers can surround themselves with their reproduction oil paintings without breaking the bank or breaking into museums and stealing the originals. This would land them in jail, and they would not be allowed to take their bounty with them.
Some of the most frequently reproduced artists are Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Leonardo da Vinci and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. As well as being more accessible than the originals, reproductions of these artists' works are much more affordable. The artists pay considerable attention to detail and these paintings are every bit as enjoyable as would be the originals.
Thought! Needing to positively enhance the overall design of my current site. Feelings regarding the sharp design of http://www.exhibitnation.com? Undoubtedly an impressive Tustin based tradeshow display supplier if ever wanted in the whole CALIFORNIA vicinity. Make a remark. Thanks!
'The Starry Night' by Dutch post-impressionist Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) is one of the most popular reproductions ever. The artist was in an asylum in France when he painted it. He is also responsible for giving the world the much-loved, 'Sunflowers', which shows a vase containing 14 yellow flowers. In this later years, the broad brush strokes that he employed would lend his work a dreamy quality and a uniquely recognizable style. He took his own life in 1890 at the tragically young age of 37.
Another very popular artist whose reproduction work is in high demand is Claude Monet (1840-1926), an impressionist. His 'Impression, Sunrise' gave this genre it's name. In French, it means, 'Impression, Soleil Levant'. He also painted 'Blue Water Lilies', 'Poppy Field' and 'Vanilla Sky', which provided the inspiration for a Hollywood film starring Tom Cruise and leading lady, Carmen Diaz.
By far the most renowned painting of Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) is the 'Mona Lisa' with her enigmatic smile. As well as a painter, da Vinci was an inventor, scientist, sculptor, engineer, musician and mathematician. His work, 'Last Supper', showing Jesus Christ sharing his last meal with his disciples, is the most duplicated religious work ever.
The child of working class parents, Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was born in France in a town called Limoges. One of his favorite subjects was the voluptuous female nude. This is evident by 'After Bathing' and two paintings entitled, 'After the Bath'. The aspiring actress and model, Jeanne Samary, posed for Renoir and appears in 'The Dreaming Woman' and 'The Swing', among others. They we're romantically involved for a while.
The relationship between Renoir and Samary was not to last. After they split, he went on to marry a woman named Aline Charigot. Both women appear in his painting, 'The Luncheon of the Boating Party'. Samary was tucked away at the rear of the scene, while the favored Aline occupies a prominent spot at the front.
Owning and collecting reproduction oil paintings is a way of surrounding yourself with world class art without breaking the bank or getting arrested. The artists take great pains to pay attention to detail and the results can be every bit as moving as the original.
